VKB MILLING MAGNIFISAN MAIZE MEAL “Make It Magnifisan & Win” Competition
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
By entering this competition, you acknowledge the following:
1. The promoter is: VKB Milling (Pty) Ltd (‘VKB’) with its registered office located at 31 President CR Swart Street, Reitz, 9810.
2. Employees of the VKB Milling (Pty) Ltd, its affiliated companies and subsidiaries or anyone else directly involved in setting up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
3. This competition is open to participants who are permanent residents and citizens of South Africa and over the age of 18 years.
4. This competition can be entered between 1 September 2026 until 30 September 2026, by taking the following steps:
4.1. Follow the official Magnifisan Maize Meal Facebook and Instagram pages;
4.2. Like the official competition post;
4.3. Create an original recipe using Magnifisan Maize Meal as one of the main ingredients; and
4.4. Comment on the official competition post with the following: -
4.4.1. a clear photograph of the completed recipe and/or dish;
4.4.2. a full list of ingredients used to complete the recipe and/or dish.; and
4.4.3. a description of the complete preparation method for the recipe and/or dish.
4.5. The Recipe and/or dish may be for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, desserts, baked creations or traditional South African meals.
4.6. Participants with a valid entry, will stand chance to win 1 (ONE) of 2 (TWO) “wonderbags”
5. The closing date for the competition is 30 September 2026.
6. Specific rules of this competition are as follows:
6.1. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend this competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promotor’s control. Any changes to this competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
6.2. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
6.3. No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and the promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
6.4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
6.5. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by South African law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
7. The winners will be notified within 7 (SEVEN) business days from the closing date of the competition. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 7 (SEVEN) days of notification, the promotor reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. Winners must present their South African identification card/book, when they collect their prize.
8. By entering this competition, you agree that the promoter can use or store your entry content for marketing, advertising, promotional and social media purposes without any additional compensation.
9. By entering this competition, you agree that the promoter can use or store your personal information. Any personal data relating to a winner or any other entrants will be used solely:
9.1. VKB’s Privacy Statement, which can be accessed at: https://www.vkb.co.za/index.php/en/about-us/privacy-portal ;
9.2. in accordance with current SA data protection legislation.
10. You hereby indemnify the promoter and all its affiliated companies and subsidiaries from any loss, damages, liability, claim or demand due to or arising out of your participation in this competition and/or any breach by you of these terms and conditions.
